The regulatory process isn’t designed to explain itself in real time. During inspections and under regulatory scrutiny, critical context is often missing – when it matters the most.
Our goal is simple:
To give the occupational safety and health community access to the kind of clarity we wish more people had before issues arose. We are not here to replace your judgment – we are here to sharpen it. Because when safety is tested, what you know – and how you apply it – makes all the difference.
As former federal OSHA attorneys having worked across inspections, contested citations, and enforcement decisions affecting employers nationwide and at the local level, we’ve seen firsthand how regulations are interpreted and applied. Too often, well-intentioned employers and safety professionals find themselves unprepared for how safety is actually evaluated when it counts. We believe access to that insight shouldn’t be limited to those who’ve worked inside the system or been subject to an inspection. It should be shared with the regulated community to make better choices, reduce risk, and create safer workplaces.
